Did you know that May is Mental Health Awareness Month? This year Mental Health America is bringing it back to basics. With mental health entering mainstream conversations, it is critical that we all have a solid understanding of how mental health impacts the everyday lives of children and adolescents.
Each week I will be discussing common mental health diagnoses that are given to children and adolescents. This week I am discussing Anxiety in Children. In this week's episode, we discuss the most common ways that anxiety presents in children. We also discuss ways that parents and caregivers can support their children when they are experiencing symptoms of anxiety.
